The 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid will start arriving at dealerships on March 23.

The next-generation Honda Accord Hybrid has expanded its trim levels from three to five, offering buyers more choice. This also allowed Honda to give it a lower starting price than before, with the 2018 Accord Hybrid priced from $25,990 including destination.

Compared to the previous model, that’s a $4,505 price drop and despite the lower entry point, the Accord Hybrid still offers plenty of standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights (low beam) and tail lights, dual-zone climate control, Smart entry with push-button start, a seven-inch TFT digital driver’s meter, a multi-angle rearview camera, and the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver-assist technologies. The Honda Sensing suite bundles adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition.

Powered by the third generation of Honda’s two-motor hybrid powertrain, the 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid has a total system output of 212 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric propulsion motor. Fuel economy comes in at 47 mpg across the board (city, highway, and combined).

Pricing was also announced for the other trim levels with the Accord Hybrid EX starting from $29,780. Next up is the EX-L trim, priced from $32,330. Adding navigation to the EX-L costs $1,000 extra.

At the top of the 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid range is the Touring model, priced from $35,600.
