The former Love Island star said that cruel social media trolls have told him to 'jump in front of a bus and hang myself'.
The volatile comments came after a heated argument with ex Olivia Attwood, 26, aired on Wednesday's episode of his new reality show.
Hughes appeared to suggest that his former flame had encouraged the volatile messages he was receiving.
He wrote: 'Ignored it for a few days now, but actually receiving death threats through social media this week off the back of an edited reality TV show is quite disturbing.
'Having people who were once in your life encouraging hate is also concerning and disturbing but life goes on.'
In a heated exchanged, aired on the show, Hughes could be shouting at Attwood saying: 'You were out doing all that s***, you were doing stuff! Why can't I be annoyed?'
The couple recently called time on their relationship, just days before their reality show Crackin’ On was due to air, with Hughes openly saying how much he still loves the former grid girl.
